Iraqis to get £3m in MoD damages

The Ministry of Defence (MoD) has agreed to pay almost £3m in damages to Iraqis who were tortured by UK troops in Basra in 2003.

At the time it was in the heat of the fighting. The soldiers were naturally very nervous and worked up as they would, being in the thick of a bloody war. In other words, their actions could easily be regarded as justified and excusable. Nevertheless, the British justice prevails and awards the victims of those nervous soldiers substantial amount of money and an apology.
There are numerous examples of how Britain has compensated the victims in this way.

Ahmadinejad and Khamenei -e- Dayoos, this is the free world way of upholding justice and compensating those who were disproportionately treated. In your Islamic regime you shoot innocent Iranians and then demand the cost of the bullets from their parents.

US Trade Increases With Iran

Personally, I condone the increase in the US trade with Iran by ten folds. The US trade with Iran has increased to about $150 million last year mostly goods aimed at benefiting the people. This is great. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that. It should in fact be encouraged. Iranian people are not the aim of the punitive sanctions so I'd suggest the US should increase such trade with Iran by another ten folds whilst punishing those who trade in material used for making weapons and such like.

July 8th (18 Tir) Iranian Students Uprising Against the Mullahs' Regime

July 8th (18 Tir Persian calendar) is the anniversary of the student uprising that ended in bloodshed in 1999. Every year students commemorate this day. This year, there is a special commemoration. Iranians inside Iran are organising widespread demonstrations across the country in all major cities. The people of Iran need the support of the international community in their uprising against the dictatorial Islamic regime.

Update 1 : Behrooz Javid Tehrani, the last remaining imprisoned student of 1999 uprising in the regime's dungeons has issued a statement in which he calls Iranians to finish the job they started 9 years ago. (It's in Farsi)

Update 2: Ahmad Batebi, one of the brave students arrested and imprisoned in 1999 has escaped the regime's dungeons after bearing nine years of torture and is now safe in America. I always worried about Ahmad. Thank goodness he is safe now. We love Ahmad Batebi:
"I wish each and every Iranian could travel abroad, come to the U.S. or go to Europe, for just one week, and feel, smell, and breathe freedom, human dignity, and realize the value of their lives."

Nuclear Hope? Don't Be a Fool!

The Mullahs of the Islamic regime are quite predictable once you learn their mindset and modus operandi. All you need is to be aware of at least two things: one is Taqqiyeh (dissimulation) and the other is that they ‘talk round’. Talking round is when they make a statement that could mean anything. Depending on the circumstances, the mullahs either lie or don’t tell you what they really mean and leave you to guess and always give you the impression that they will be kind to you! This is how they have been quite successful in deceiving everyone to stay in power; make inroads into their nuclear technology pursuits; and get the support of the free world’s lefties and liberals.

I predicted that the regime would make some suggestions that they might consider the packages of incentives and even hint that they would halt their uranium enrichment activities. The current circumstances require the regime to talk round. This week, the top foreign policy adviser to Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, declared that Iran could respond favourably to the latest deal offered by Western negotiators, which he described as acceptable "in principle." There is no certain commitment from the mullahs of Tehran that they would halt their uranium enrichment program at the moment but they certainly are showing signs that they might – but only might mind! This is exactly what I predicted. The mullahs would drag this 'nuclear hope' until the end of this year whilst continuing with their uranium enrichment. As the free world liberal tabloids and media fill their pages with the false ‘nuclear hope’, exaggerating, fantasizing and misinforming their readers simply because they just hate Bush, as they'd try to make any talk of military strike more and more absurd, the barbaric regime would crack more nuts with their tails (Persian proverb)! As this is exactly what the mullahs want for the time being until Obama is elected into office.
